Menopause

These appointments are available to book online.

New Menopause appointments £350
Includes a consultation (F2F/virtual) lasting up to 60 minutes with two further emails/phone calls to the Clinic Team if required.

Follow-up Menopause appointments £220
Includes a consultation (F2F/ virtual) lasting up to 30 minutes and one email/phone call to the Clinic Team if required. For existing patients of The Amara Clinic that have had a previous appointment within the past year.

Annual Review Menopause appointments £250
Includes a consultation (F2F/virtual) lasting up to 30 minutes and a complementary follow up appointment where required. Please note the Annual Review package is discretionary and only to patients currently under The Amara Clinic have had an appointment within the last 12 calendar months.

These appointments should be booked via the Clinic Team.

General Gynaecology

These appointments are available to book online.

New General Gynaecology appointments £310
Includes a consultation (F2F/virtual) lasting up to 30 minutes and two emails/phone calls to the Clinic Team if required.

Follow-up General Gynaecology appointments £210
Includes a consultation (F2F/Virtual) lasting up to 30 minutes and one email/phone call to the Clinic Team if required. These appointments are available for existing patients of Miss Henderson whom have had a previous appointment within the past year.

Cervical Screening

Cervical smear tests £125
We offer cervical screening to check for presence of HPV and abnormal cells in the neck of the womb.

Please note that the fees listed on this site only apply to the Amara Clinic location.

Breast Consultation

New Breast Consultation appointments £250

Breast consultation with Miss Deepika Akoleker a Consultant Breast Surgeon who will be happy to discuss a wide range of breast concerns and provide education regarding self-examination in a calm and private setting.

These appointments should be booked via the Clinic Team.

Well Woman Screening

Well Woman Screening £1,350

At The Amara Clinic we offer a fully comprehensive and bespoke Well Woman Screening package. There are two package options available, one of which includes an optional mammogram. This package includes the following:

General Gynaecology consultation and examination by a Consultant Gynaecologist.

Cervical smear test and discussion of results.

Breast consultation including advice and examination with a Consultant Breast Surgeon.

Blood tests for general and hormone health.

Pelvic ultrasound scan, by a Consultant Radiologist for pelvic health and ovarian screening.

Optional mammogram.

This service is unique as it is carried out at consultant level. Well Woman Screening is performed by Miss Henderson, supported by her Consultant colleagues who practise at The Amara Clinic. Please see Meet the Medical Team for more details.

Please note that due to the bespoke nature of these Well Woman Packages, direct booking with the Clinic Team is required.

Other Fees

Prescription administration fees £25
These fees are applicable for all private prescriptions which are dispensed either by Pharmacierge or The Amara Clinic. Please be aware that additional medication costs will be charged separately for all items dispensed either by The Amara Clinic or Pharmacierge.

Blood Tests
We offer comprehensive blood tests to screen for a wide range of general health and gynaecological problems including menopause. Please contact the Clinic Team for details.

Ultrasound Imaging £375
We offer pelvic ultrasound screening carried out by a Consultant Radiologist. Ultrasound can investigate a wide range of symptoms including heavy periods, pelvic pain and other concerns including a family history of ovarian pathology. Please contact the Clinic Team for details.

Bespoke Consultations
We also offer specific consultation packages including Well Woman Checks, Smear Tests, Mammograms, Coil Insertions amongst others. Please contact the Clinic Team for further information.

Phlebotomy Fee £30

Important Information Online Bookings

Please note this booking system is for self-funding patients only. If you would like to use your health insurance cover please contact the Clinic Team for support.
When you click the booking link below this will direct you to our Carebit Platform Availability Calendar where you will have the opportunity to book with all members of the medical team.
Self-funding patients do not need a referral from their GP prior to organising a consultation.
All new patients will be required to fill in a detailed registration and history form which will be emailed to you once the booking is confirmed.
The consultations are very comprehensive and include a detailed discussion regarding your current symptoms, past medical history, and any other related problems following which an individual management plan will be provided.
If you have opted for an encrypted video consultation, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to prepare and a link to join ahead of your appointment.
Please note that ongoing private prescriptions will only be provided to those patients who remain under the care of The Amara Clinic and who have had an appointment within the last 12 months and/or have opted into the Annual Review Package.
If there are no available appointments, or you require an urgent appointment, then please contact the Clinic Team directly.
