Menopause Appointments

New Menopause appointments - from £390
Includes a consultation (F2F/alternative) lasting up to 60 minutes followed by a comprehensive clinic letter.

Follow-up Menopause appointments - from £280
Includes a consultation (F2F/alternative) lasting up to 30 minutes followed by a comprehensive clinic letter. Available to existing patients of The Amara Clinic who have had a previous Menopause appointment within the last 12 calendar months.

Annual Follow-up Menopause appointments - from £310
Includes a consultation (F2F/alternative) lasting up to 30 minutes followed by a comprehensive clinic letter. Please note the Annual Follow-up package is discretionary and only available to existing patients who have had a previous Menopause appointment within the last 12 calendar months.

Complex Hormone/PMS/PMDD Appointments

General Gynaecology Appointments

New General Gynaecology appointments - £395
Includes a consultation (F2F/alternative) lasting up to 30 minutes followed by a comprehensive clinic letter.

Follow-up General Gynaecology appointments - £295
Includes a consultation (F2F/alternative) lasting up to 30 minutes followed by a comprehensive clinic letter. These appointments are available to existing patients who have had a General Gynaecology appointment within the last 12 calendar months.

Cervical Screening Appointments

Our cervical screening service is designed as a specialist consultant-led appointment, rather than as a stand-alone cervical screening test.

As part of your appointment, you will have a dedicated consultation of 20 minutes with Miss Anne Henderson, Consultant Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist. During this consultation, Miss Henderson will discuss your medical history, any symptoms or concerns you may have, answer any questions, and ensure that cervical screening is appropriate for you before your sample is taken. The consultation forms an integral part of the service we provide.

The fees for your appointment will therefore be made up of separate elements, which reflect both the specialist consultation and the laboratory testing required to process your cervical screening sample:

20-minute specialist consultation – £400
HPV laboratory test – £175
Cytology (cell analysis, if clinically required following the HPV result) – £100

The total fee payable prior to your appointment is £675. This includes the consultation, the HPV laboratory test and the cytology fee.

As cytology is only performed if your HPV result indicates that it is clinically required, if cytology is not required, the £100 laboratory fee will be refunded to you, bringing the total cost of your appointment to £575.

Well Woman Screening

Well Woman Screening

At The Amara Clinic, we offer fully comprehensive and bespoke Well Woman Screening packages. There are two package options available, one of which includes an optional mammogram. This package includes the following:

General Gynaecology consultation and examination by a Consultant Gynaecologist.

Cervical smear test and discussion of results.

Breast consultation including advice and examination with a Consultant Breast Surgeon.

Blood tests for general and hormone health.

Pelvic ultrasound scan for pelvic health and ovarian screening.

Optional mammogram.

This service is unique as it is carried out at consultant level. Well Woman Screening is performed by Miss Henderson, supported by her Consultant colleagues who practise at The Amara Clinic. Please see Meet the Medical Team for more details.

Please note that due to the bespoke nature of these Well Woman Packages, direct booking with the Clinic Team is required.

Blood Tests
Through our pathology partners, we offer comprehensive blood tests to screen for a wide range of general health and gynaecological problems including menopause.

With hubs all across the UK, we can arrange your blood test in whichever way suits you best:

Concierge Service - We bring the appointment to you.
Our concierge service allows you to be seen at a location of your choice — whether that’s the comfort of your own home or your workplace.
A Hub Near You – With locations nationwide, our pathology partners can find the most convenient hub for your appointment to take place.
Harley Street Walk-Ins – Our pathology partners also offer appointments on Harley Street — which can be arranged for you.

Ultrasound Imaging
Pelvic Ultrasound can investigate a wide range of symptoms including heavy periods, pelvic pain and other concerns including a family history of ovarian pathology. Where scanning is advised as part of your care, we can arrange this for you with an expert sonographer.

HRT Implant Insertion - £795 for single implant / £895 for combined implant
This treatment is only available to existing patients and carried out by Miss Anne Henderson.

WID-Easy Endometrial Cancer Test

New Patient - WID-Easy Endometrial Cancer Test and Consultation with Miss Henderson £875 *
Existing patients - WID-Easy Endometrial Cancer Testing for Existing patients with Miss Henderson £600 *

*Please note that an additional follow-up telephone consultation would also be required as a separate appointment (to discuss your results, explain what they mean, and advise on any recommended next steps) at a cost of £135 with Miss Henderson.

Blue-Light Appointments
Offered for all members of the key Emergency and NHS services, offering a 20% fee reduction for all new appointments.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
We work alongside Joanna Hogan to make CBT available to our patients. Where CBT would support your care, we can connect you with her.
