Prescription Requests

Please note the new prescription arrangements with immediate effect:

  • All prescription administration fees must be paid within 14 days, otherwise the prescription request will be cancelled and no medication will be dispensed.
  • All prescriptions are being forwarded to Pharmacierge for fulfilment. Any shortages are completely outside of the control of The Amara Clinic and any queries regarding stock shortages or dispensing delays must be directed to Pharmacierge as they are responsible for dispensing.
  • In the event that Pharmacierge cannot provide the required medication then we would recommend that you would try and obtain HRT through the usual NHS channels. Unfortunately due to intermittent shortages you may need to consider pharmacies significantly further away than your usual catchment area. We would also recommend that you would look at smaller independent pharmacies rather than the larger multi-nationals as they tend to be more sensitive to specific requests.
  • Please be aware that The Amara Clinic cannot guarantee an ongoing supply of HRT as the intermittent national shortages are out of our control.

A message from The Amara Clinic

Please note that due to unprecedented demand for HRT, private prescriptions issued via The Amara Clinic can take up to 14 days to turn around. The clinic requests that you refrain from chasing your prescriptions within this timeframe. All queries mustbe emailed to where a dedicated memberof staff will be actioning it.

IMPORTANT:This prescription request service is only for patients currently under Miss Henderson’s care who have been seen recently or have an existing follow-up or annual review appointment scheduled. If you do not meet these criteria you will need to book an initial consultation before getting a prescription. We reserve the right to reject or cancel a prescription request from anybody that does not meet these criteria.
